other ceremonies

One of the things we’ve quickly come to love about the wedding business is the fact that when a venue gets a wedding licence you can do all these other wonderful things as well.

renewal of vows

You can go just about anywhere to do this now; West Africa, the Bahamas, the parish church you originally got married in – or maybe a more radical move. Unfortunately it took us a while to realize how perfect..

naming ceremonies

Naming ceremonies, the civil equivalent of a christening (and yes it does sound nicer, but we can’t call it that) are just a lovely thing to be involved in. Proud parents and bouncing babies..

This is a fun one to do and memorable for anyone doing it. No need to go to an echoing town hall, and a much better introduction to being part of the wider community in the 21 century..

memorial ceremonies

Here’s a more sombre, but equally important task. When you want to do and say something special for and about a loved one, church, chapel or mosque is no longer the place that everyone turns to automatically..
