the day before and after

After getting everybody organized you may want to extend your celebrations to the day before & after. You’ve got the gathering of the clans the night before, perhaps in time for a family supper at a restaurant or pub, or just a big cook out amongst the tipis. Then if you want the extra time with your guests that another day gives you, it’s a lovely addition to your wedding for those that are staying another night.

Certainly lots of you want it to last for a whole weekend, with the day after playing a real part with planned activities or just chilling out. This is often where you really get to spend time with close friends or family who may have come a long way – and how often get you get the chance to all be together? You can arrange brunch the day after the wedding or a late lunch using our big site barbeque – perhaps using up leftover food & drink or with some extras provided by the caterers or the guests themselves.

You’ve done lots of things the day after; surfing at Polzeath, brunch on the beach, cricket on the grass, treasure trails for the children, fishing & rowing competitions at the lake, a showing of a favourite movie the next night or just an after party with a little more music & wine...

That private festival feel or extended celebrations more like an African or Middle Eastern wedding is why so many of you choose us. It’s part of you wanting something genuinely different – not the kind of different that gives you pistachio organza sashes on your chair backs – but the kind of different that actually is.

“We just wanted to say thank you so much for all the effort you put into making our day perfect. You really went above and beyond our expectations for the day”.
