On a scorching hot Midsummer's day guests gathered, lots of them - the sun shone, swallows dipped the surface of the water and the scene was set for a picture perfect wedding ceremony at the lake.

We called her the sparkly bride, because everything she did shone – from the smile to the dress, to shimmering sari silk used to partition the main marquee - & all of course hand in hand with the beaming groom.

Julie & Colin got married on a glorious day in the merrie month of May (as they say at Padstow Obby Oss) – they chose an outdoor wedding with both sets of parents, a bridesmaid & of course the couple’s best friend – Marley the dog.

The first we knew about this South American inspired October wedding was a call from Kate (aka Pinks) asking if we could source some lamas for their day - it felt like a bit of an ask as we didn’t have a tame lama person up our sleeve, but we cracked on with the research & ended up feeling quite expert on domestic camelids…
