Our wedding rates are shown below with Terms & Conditions available on request or when you pay us a visit.

If there’s anything you’re not sure about or want to discuss, just give us a call or drop us an email.

Don’t forget that although you can arrange a wedding at short notice the trend is for longer lead in times of 12-18 months, sometimes a couple of years! So for the dates & caterers etc that you want, especially in the Spring & Summer months, it’s the early bird that catches the worm...

Ceremony or Reception Only

If you’ve already got somewhere even more special to you to hold your reception, but want to have your ceremony by our bubbling stream then we’re happy for you to marry in our Pavilion for 50% of our costs below. (bands 1-10 only, mid-peak season Saturdays excluded). If you’ve got your heart set on marrying elsewhere, but want to come to us for your party of a lifetime then its a 20% discount as you won't need to use our ceremony area.

To secure your wedding date we require a 25% deposit of your base rate, with a further payment of 45% to be paid 9 months prior to the event and the final balance payable 3 months before the big day. Additional costs are payable as agreed. Cancellation policy as per our terms and conditions.

Please note that our prices do not include the fees for the Registrars or any arrangements with them for performing your ceremony. We’re not allowed by law to be involved in this process which means that you have to contact & pay the Registrars direct – fees are currently running at approx £500 per wedding. Our local office is: Bodmin Registration Office, Chy Trevail, Beacon Technology Park, Bodmin PL31 2FR t: 0300 1234 181 e: (calls & emails are now centralized for the County via the main Truro Ceremonies Team).

    option 1: Lower Village Field (LVF) with Gazebo £650 until 10pm includes 6 tent pitches (1 night)
    option 2: LVF with Star Tent £1000 until 10pm includes 4 tent pitches (1 night)

    option 3: Wedding pavilion area turned into a dining space for an additional 3 hours up to 6pm £750 (e+ to band 3)
    includes marquee for reception until midnight

    Bank Holiday Mondays are charged at Friday-Sunday prices

    Please note two children aged 2-12 count as 1 adult guest & under 2’s are free of charge. Don't forget to include yourselves in the numbers!

    ** min requirement for Saturday is 51+ people

    Discounts: (cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount)

    • Locals – 5% discount for couples who live at a Cornish postcode
    • Last minute – 15% discount if wedding is booked within 4 months of the day (marquee weddings only)

     

    Lake ceremonies: Lake ceremonies carry an extra charge to the prices listed above during mid & peak season and low season school holidays / bank holidays, as follows - e & e+: +£350, bands 1-3: +£550, bands 4-7: +£750. Weddings of over 125 people are not suitable for a lakeside ceremony.

    Elopement Weddings: 

    • e - Elopement Special - Wedding couple with 2 witnesses, either your guests or our staff, and the wedding night in a medium tipi.
    • e+ - Elopement Special Plus - This gives you a total of up to 10 people including the wedding couple. You won't need our staff as witnesses as you'll have plenty of your own; but you'll still get your wedding night in a tipi & dreamy pictures rowing round the lake J. Optional evening area for campfire after 6pm.

    Small Weddings: bands 1 & 2 - if you're a smaller wedding you're likely to have a ceremony in the wedding pavilion followed by drinks, photos & either supper round your campfire in one of our woodland areas or a more traditional wedding breakfast in the wedding pavilion (seamlessly switched over by venue/catering staff from ceremony to dining space) until 6pm – or at our on site café The Tipi Kitchen, no need for the big marquee.

    band 4+ is the wild card; because of your numbers (up to 50 people) you've got the choice of keeping it in our smaller wedding category like 1 - 3, or going the whole hog & booking the marquee like the bigger weddings & dancing the night away. Don't worry if you're not sure which sounds best - we can discuss.
